South East Hockey Futures is a regional system helping hockey clubs reach more schools, more children, more communities.


1. How does South East Hockey Futures work?

Through applications to the South East Hockey Futures scheme during the application period, South East Hockey Futures aims to support coaching, pitch costs, equipment, membership bursaries and transitional activities, with the hope of bringing hockey into every postcode.

With session staring in schools, clubs participating, and being supported by South East Hockey Futures, hope to encourage students into taster sessions and club trials, which can lead to club memberships and pathways into Adult Hockey Leagues and beyond. 


2. What is South East Hockey Futures aim?

By September 2026, South East Hockey Futures want to reach 99 schools, introduce thousands of children to hockey and beiold stronger, more sustainable junior sections. 

South East Hockey Futures is a long-term system, not a one-off funding pot.


3. Why South East Hockey Futures matters?

Volunteers and goodwill don’t scale on their own. SEHF helps clubs do what they already want to do — more consistently and sustainably.


4. Get involved in South East Hockey Futures!

Getting hockey back into the school curriculum is something that South East Hockey Futures aims to assist with so that more students get the chance to play hockey. Additionally, being able to gain long term interest with local businesses who can partner with South East Hockey Futures to help us support the delivery of hockey across the South East is just as important.
